Dylan Cuthbert, the man who helped create the original Star Fox series, said in a recent interview that his Q Games is working on a previously unannounced Nintendo DS title.
While talking about the latest PixelJunk release, he was asked whether the PixelJunk series was the main focus of Q Games.
“It’s not the main focus it’s one part of Q…We work directly with Nintendo on second party titles,” he told Siliconera.
“We are working on a Nintendo DS title. Hopefully it will be announced soon, but we don’t know yet. It should finish up soon, but we don’t know when it will come out,” he continued.
We’re as surprised as you are. We’ll provide more information when we dig up some details about the mystery game.

While Capcom’s Street Fighter IV has yet to be announced for any consoles, it’s a given that it will be at some point in the future. Sony’s PS3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 would obviously be the first choice, considering how graphics-heavy the title is.
However, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono says that it’s possible that SFIV will make its way to the Wii or even Game Boy.
“Street Fighter IV, as it stands now, would be well-suited for the higher-level platforms. But the game doesn’t have to have these visuals in order to be fun,” Ono told Eurogamer. “We could go, potentially, to the Wii. We could make it on Game Boy, for all we know right now.
“As long as the rules are the same, that can be independent of the visuals. So we’re not going to be limited by any hardware specs; we’re going to aim as wide as possible.”

When Mario Kart Wii finally hits the shelves, a Wii Wheel will be included with every copy sold at $49 a pop.
But what about if you fear getting into fightfights over who gets to use the wheel? Looks like Nintendo has the solution — in Japan the company will be selling wheels a la carte for 1,200 yen. (about $11 US)
Sure, it’s just a hunk of plastic to put your Wiimote into, but at least they’re making more available for those who prefer to drive that way. But there’s solace for the wheelless as well.
The Wiimote turned sideways can also be used to control the action sans-wheel. In addition, a Wii remote/nunchuck combo can used. Even the classic controller works perfectly fine. And heck, even the big GameCube controller will do the trick.
So there’s no lack of options in the controls department.

Another Monday has come and two more games have been added to the Wii Shop channel, one from Nintendo 64 and the other from TurboGrafx16.
The first game is Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Yes, the pink squishy guy has arrived once again. His Adventure, Dream Course, and Avalanche have already hit the Wii VC, and there’s still many more titled yet untapped.
$10 for another Kirby game (even though it’s quite possibly the best of the bunch) isn’t how we’d choose to spend our money, but that decision will be up to each and every one of you. Being from the semi-recently Nintendo 64, it’ll set you back 1000 Points.
Next up is the TurboGrafx16 title Psychosis. 600 Points for that one.
The brief storyline: The player’s mind has been taken over by an evil power, or at least that’s what they are led to think. This force, “The Devil Ugar,” plans to make their mind his own, but the player’s character won’t give up without a fight. The player used their mind to create the vehicle that will travel through their conscious and subconscious to win back their sanity.

If WayForward gets its way, then the young sorta-genie from Sequin Land Shantae will be making her way to Wii.
According to Voldi Way, head honcho of the company, they’re looking at Wii as the home for Shantae. Since she’s only appeared on Game Boy Color, Siliconera asked if WayForward was intending to go the WiiWare route.
“That’s the plan,” he replied.
Matt Bozon, Creative Director of the dev, indicated the same to IGN back in May of last year.
“…we’ve started to update her design in anticipation of something on Wii, maybe Risky Waters or something similar,” he said in a letter to the website.
