WayForward Looking Into Bringing Shantae To Wii
If WayForward gets its way, then the young sorta-genie from Sequin Land Shantae will be making her way to Wii.
According to Voldi Way, head honcho of the company, they’re looking at Wii as the home for Shantae. Since she’s only appeared on Game Boy Color, Siliconera asked if WayForward was intending to go the WiiWare route.
“That’s the plan,” he replied.
Matt Bozon, Creative Director of the dev, indicated the same to IGN back in May of last year.
“…we’ve started to update her design in anticipation of something on Wii, maybe Risky Waters or something similar,” he said in a letter to the website.
