2K Sports went to The Bigs last year; now Activision will be going to the Littles on Wii and DS. 

The pub has announced that they’re bringing Little League World Series to both platforms, due for release on on August 5th.

Of course, the Wii version will take full advantage to Nintendo’s famous motion-sensing, while the DS version will take advantage of the touch screen.

“Little League baseball fans, players and families simply haven’t had a videogame made just for them, so our goal is to fill this niche,” said Dave Oxford, Activision Publishing. “Creating this game with the LL organization has been a pleasure and we look forward to paying homage to the three million LL players around the world today.”
