Keira Knightley Says ‘Never’

After last appearing in The Duchess, Keira Knightley will being taking a one hundred eighty degree turn and starring in Never Let Me Go.

Based on the Booker shortlisted novel by Kazuo Ishiguro, Never Let Me Go will be directed by Mark Romanek and co-star Andrew Garfield and Carey Mulligan.

While the general premise of the film, which we won’t spoil here, appears to be similar to the Michael bay film The Island, rest assured that it is not.

The novel was singled out by Time magazine as the single best fiction novel of 2005, and the publication included it in their TIME 100 Best English-language Novels from 1923 to 2005.

The Island, on the other hand, was almost universally panned — and from where we’re standing, it was not undeserved.
