GameStop’s launch party for Scarface
The new Scarface game, The World is Yours, had a special launch party at GameStop on Thursday October 5th. The party was in a Miami nightclub which was decked out like the movie.
“Scarface, the movie, has transcended time. Now the icon takes on new life in Scarface: The World is Yours video game,” said Tom DeNapoli, Vice President of Marketing, GameStop Corp. “Gamestop is thrilled to be part of this historic launch, and we wanted to celebrate it by throwing an event in the very place where Scarface surfaced– Miami.”

Burger King now selling Xbox games
Burger King has teamed up with Microsoft to sell 3 games at $3.99 a piece with a purchase of any value meal. The 3 games are: Pocketbike Racer, Big Bumpin’, and Sneak King. Two of the games will be available to play online. The games will be available for purchase from November 19th through December 24th.
These games will be released just in time for the holidays. In Pocketbike Racer is where you race around tracks with up to 8 players online, or 4 players in split screen mode.
Sneak King is where you become the “King” and try and sneak up on people and give them a meal.
In Big Bumpin’ you play bumper cars with up to 4 players at once, featuring a few levels, and Brooke Burke as one of the characters.
Looks like Burger King is trying to hop into the gaming scene where McDonald’s seemed to control up until now.
